Hi. get ready for a long post...

Today we decided to pass Eugene the presents. What he didn't know (or at least we think he didn't know) was that we had started planning since one week ago... but the rest today (asking a girl to pass the present to him) was impromptu.

So this was what happened behind the scenes...
A week ago benedict sent out an email to us, and i suggested to daniel mark that we should celebrate eugene's birthday which was coming soon. So from there, we decided to raise some funds and we had some ideas in mind.

We asked the help of a random girl to ask eugene what songs/albums he like so that it would not be so obvious. After much deliberation... we decided to buy simple plan's new cd title... (surprise!) simple plan. Initially, there was not a lot of support even though daniel and i tried to rally the help of our classmates. But on friday, 3 different people donated $10 each.

After school, we went to junction 8 to shop for presents. We wanted to ask the guy-who-visits-kfc-daily-and-takes-photos-of-ri-guys to donate some money but daniel decided it was unethical even though he took a few photos of us (ew...). First we went to popular and found this book called "brain smart leaders". After buying it, we went to a cd shop and found the simple plan cd. And we found out that they gave a simple plan shirt free together with the cd! yay! When i reached home i found out the book was about jobs... but it will be useful to eugene next time :P

So anyway on saturday, eugene and i went for a random program and would only be back in school at 1pm. on the bus back the random girl smsed me to ask me if she needed to do anything for eugene as she was at junction8. so i asked her to rush back to ri (well she really took her time... -.-). this was not really prepared and planned for.

when we reached back in school, i rushed to change into my pe pants from my trackpants and lost sight of eugene. then i started calling him for like... 5 times? and he didnt reply so i told the random girl not to come yet... if i'm not wrong she hadn't even left junction 8 yet... we thought eugene might have gone home.

after about 15 min since i reached ri eugene called back so i told both of them to rush back to ri.
we had originally planned to go to the 2nd storey above the canteen while ashlynna would pass the present to eugene at the clocktower... and so we would be able to seem from above but that failed. so we passed ashlynna this hairy purple ball alex bought and ashlynna presented it to eugene. yay!

then we went to 1i, after a while the random girl with her random friend came to junior block too... so we decided heck, why not, and asked random girl to present "brain smart leaders" to eugene too. next, we told eugene to go into the boy's toilet. after we got ready, ashlynna presented eugene the spanky cool new cool PUSSYCAT DOLL'S ALBUM... i guess he was kinda dumbfounded because that would have been a crappy present, but when he opened it up, he was shocked to realise it was actually the simple plan's cd in a pussycat doll's album cover! moreover, we gave him the simple plan tshirt too which really fits him.

um well, this was partially a success as some things could have been planned better.

Ps: more is coming up on wednesday. those who know please don't reveal to eugene.
